A prominent and forward-thinking county Doctor, Harry J. Felch, first occupied the home in 1927.   Dr. Felch had a great love for Phoenix, and for farming.  He owned the property from the home site west to Nineteenth Avenue, and north to Thomas.

Dr. Felch and his wife Bessie Disney – Felch raised their three children in the home, and occupied it until the mid- 1940s.  Their daughter, Virginia calls Phoenix home, and still visits The Felch House Inn every now and then.  We love to hear her stories!

Although the house features and fixtures are all original, it has been loving maintained and restored through the years.  According to Ms. Felch three architects worked in collaboration on the design of the home which includes 4 bedrooms, a maid’s quarter, and a carriage house.

We love its history and count ourselves blessed to be owners of this home. We would love to share it with you on your special day, and are sure you will have cherished memories here too!

The Felch House Inn allows only beer, wine, and of course, champagne; no hard liquor is allowed. We do not supply any alcohol or allow self-service, and guests are not allowed to carry in alcohol.
